During 2004 Ulead, is a leading developer of video, imaging and DVD authoring software also began bundling the Sorenson Squeeze 3.5 Compression Suite for Windows with two of Ulead's award-winning products - Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7 and Ulead DVD Workshop 2. Later that same year Sorenson Media released the Sorenson Squeeze 4 product line - including the Sorenson Squeeze 4 Compression Suite. The Squeeze 4 Suite was the first full-featured compression application to incorporate High Definition (HD) encoding for a variety of video formats including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, QuickTime, and RealMedia. Additionally, the Windows version of the Suite included HD encoding options for Windows Media 9.
